Kathylina Acosta

Photographer

Kathylina Acosta is a seasoned photographer capturing photos of families and couples throughout Texas for the past 10 years.

She currently lives, works and plays in Marfa, Texas and photographs people and weddings in the Far West Texas area.

She discovered her love for photography at a very young age. In her younger years, she would beg her mother at grocery stores to buy her disposable cameras and then beg again a couple of days later for money to get her film developed. To this day, Kathylina has shoeboxes upon shoeboxes filled with old photographs and negatives, and what she considers treasures from her childhood.

As time moved on, Kathylina graduated from her disposable cameras into darkroom film processing, 35mm film photography and of course digital shooting and processing. In the past she has photographed live music events, MotoGP at Circuits of America, interior design and architecture. However, photographing people, their love and happiness, is and will always be her deepest passion.
